I'm really disappointed with Inspire Net. I've had no real complaints with them since switching over, other than I had no choice in providers as they were the only ISP that offered Fibre in my area.
There was a massive network outage yesterday that lasted almost 24 hours. I live really far out in the country and have little to no cell phone reception in my area so I was completely isolated that entire day. I'm currently working on a Uni assignment which was already comin
g down to the wire so I'm likely now going to fail. I had to travel 40 minutes just to stay with family so that I could try and continue work on the assignment but with the time lost and the money spent on petrol I'm just completely devastated.
I asked Inspire today if they would offer me some kind of compensation as a show of compassion and to at the very least make up for the fact that I paid for a service I was literally not provided and they just rudely told me no, and there was nothing I could do. They even told me they're not even legally obligated to provide me the service that that I'm paying for.
I may just go back to DSL just so I can be with a different provider, this is ridiculous. ...read more
